One of the top Jazz and Contemporary R&B ensembles in the Pittsburgh area for many years, the quartet consists of founder, guitarist Gerald ‘Shotgun’ Haymon, pianist Tim Jenkins, drummer Philip Curtis ‘Butch’ Jones, and bassist Dan Wasson. Unlike most local R&B bands, this quartet is comfortable honoring requests for Jazz standards and can swing. And unlike many local Jazz ensembles, Gerald Haymon will lay out a great groove.
